Remotely Connecting to the UNO Network: Easy as 1-2-3

Using the “Start” menu on the task bar (bottom of screen), select “All Programs,” then “Accessories,” then “Communications,” and click on “Remote Desktop Connection.”

        110Once you click on “Remote Desktop Connection,” you will be prompted to type in a location. Type in “remote.uno.edu” and you will receive a prompt asking for your user id and password.    118

Proceed then, as usual, with your log-in process. A new “desktop” will appear on your screen. The S Drive and other network features are now available to you. If you wish to go back and forth between this screen and your own desktop screen, just click once on the “minimize” button at the top of the screen.
